In my mind, there are no bad Segway tours, but they aren’t all created equal either. A good tour should have a good mix of pure Segway riding and entertaining sites and stories. Cheyenne Cañon and the Broadmoor area are full of interesting sites, colorful history and incredible natural beauty.
For those who have taken tours in other places, the lure of a CCS tour is the uniqueness of the tour route and ride. CCS is the only Segway tour company to have a permit from the City of Colorado Springs for riding on a city park trail. Plus, we only ride on Segway X2 units that are designed to go off road in addition to being smooth and cushioned ride on the asphalt.
If you are new to riding a Segway, you will still get the incredibly unique riding experience, but the most important thing is training! We thoroughly train each rider and make sure they are comfortable and confident before we start out. In addition to personal training, you will also be given a radio receiver and earbud so that your tour guide can easily give you riding instructions and stories without having to stop or yell back to riders.
Then there is the flexibility in tours. There is a 45 minute to 1-hour tour that is very reasonably priced at $45 or a 90 minute to 2 hour tour that is only $75. It fun, entertaining and different than any other Segway tour in the region. I hope you will find the time to See Colorado Springs in a Whole New Way with a Cheyenne Cañon Segway tour.
